City of Elmhurst City Council met June 2

Here are the minutes provided by the council:

1. Executive Session -  Mayor Levin called executive session to order at 7:01 pm

Closed Session: 1.1 Executive Session for the Purpose of Discussing: Review of Minutes of Meetings Lawfully Closed Under the Open Meetings Act, for Purposes of Approval by the Body of the Minutes or Semi-annual Review of the Minutes as Mandated by Section 2.06 pursuant to the Open Meetings Act 5 ILCS 120/5 (c)(5), (c)(21) and Pending /Probable Litigation pursuant to the Open Meetings Act 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(11)

Roll Call

Present:  Karen Sienko, Michael Bram, Chris Jensen, Mike Baker, Dan Virgil, Guido Nardini, Emily Bastedo, Rex Irby, Mike Brennan and Brian Belanger

Absent: Jacob Hill, Noel Talluto, Jim Nudera and Jennifer Veremis

10 Present, 4 Absent at Roll Call

Also Present: Treasurer Curran, City Attorney Acker, Assistant City Manager Johnson and City Manager Grabowski

Alderman Sienko moved to adjourn into executive session.  Alderman Virgil seconded.

Ayes: Karen Sienko, Michael Bram, Chris Jensen, Mike Baker, Dan Virgil, Guido Nardini, Emily Bastedo, Rex Irby, Mike Brennan and Brian Belanger

Nays: None

10 Ayes, 0 Nays, 4 Absent at Motion

2. Call to Order - Mayor Levin called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:39 pm

Present: Karen Sienko, Jacob Hill, Michael Bram, Chris Jensen, Mike Baker, Dan Virgil, Guido Nardini, Emily Bastedo, Rex Irby, Mike Brennan and Brian Belanger

Absent: Noel Talluto, Jim Nudera and Jennifer Veremis

Also Present: City Attorney Acker, City Manager Grabowski, Assistant City Manager Johnson, Clerk Tamer, Treasurer Curran, Public Works Director Balicki, Finance Director Coyle, IT Director Kravets, Police Chief McLean, and Fire Chief Dufort

1. H. Scott Matheney- Elmhurst University Chaplin- Retiring and expressed his thanks to the City of Elmhurst and said his final goodbye to the City Council.

Alderman Bastedo moved to accept the consent agenda.  Alderman Bram seconded.

7. Reports and Recommendations of Appointed and Elected Officials

Mayor Levin and Manager Grabowski- Announced that Memorial Day Parade was successful, discussed the General Assembly, Museum Stage Ribbon Cutting and the Neighborhood Roll Calls.

None.

9. Adjournment - Alderman Hill moved to adjourn the meeting.  Alderman Virgil seconded.
