Former Wheaton Warrenville South High School standout Bearden Awadzi played on Saturday, May 17 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship

On Saturday, May 17, former Wheaton Warrenville South High School standout Bearden Awadzi’s current collegiate team the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays won 8-3 against the Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptors in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Babb Field at Stromberg Stadium at 2:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptors in the tournament.

The Johns Hopkins Blue Jays’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 11 a.m. at Babb Field at Stromberg Stadium.
