College Sports Communicators announce CCIW women's academic all-district at-large honorees

The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2024-25 Academic All-District Women's At-Large teams on Tuesday afternoon. The announcement highlighted 31 student-athletes from the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) across various sports, including women's bowling, golf, lacrosse, and water polo.

Augustana, Carroll, Elmhurst, and North Central each had six athletes named to the team. This recognition honors student-athletes for their academic and athletic achievements. The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes At-Large honorees in five divisions: NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, and the College Division.

Those selected as Academic All-District honorees will be considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Finalists for the CSC Academic All-America title are marked with an asterisk and will advance to a national ballot voted on by CSC members. The results will be announced on July 9.

From Augustana, Ocean Akau*, Waiahuli Akau*, Colleen Chiavola, Maddie Lathrop*, Charlotte Newport*, and Kelsey O’Connor were recognized. Carroll's honorees included Ava Butt*, Devon Duym*, Lauren Fricke, Samantha Hurd, Tessa Lawson, and Grace Tumilty*. Elmhurst saw Mikaela Armstrong, Regan Bobich*, Mia Coppola, Gracie Eastman, Mary Graves, and Corinna Salmon honored.

Illinois Wesleyan had Nora Cerroni, Macy Ludwig*, Jacque O’Neill, and Jadyn Spinks recognized. Marian's Jocelynn Eggert was acknowledged in women's bowling. Millikin's Madi Jessen was recognized in women's golf.

North Central featured Lucy Culig, Mallorie Clifton, Tori Leonard, Abby MacKenzie*, Annelise Oster, and Madison Place among its honorees. Wheaton's Molly Holbert and Abby Smith were also acknowledged in women's golf.
