On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Lake Park High School standout Lexi Szostak’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, lost 2-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the DePaul Blue Demons.

The game took place at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Blue Demons this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 9 a.m. at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex against Green Bay Phoenix.
