Carthage College pitcher Bryce Schaum was named to the All-Region First Team, leading a group of eight student-athletes from the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) recognized by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA). The announcement was made on Tuesday as part of the 2025 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region teams.
Schaum's Carthage teammates Ryan Scanlon and Collin Callahan were named to the Second and Third Teams, respectively. Jake Hartman also represented Carthage on the Third Team. North Park University had three players honored: Reyn Matsuzaki, Rylan Kawakami, and Alex DiVito, all earning spots on the Third Team.
Additionally, Justin Gadomski from Illinois Wesleyan University received Second Team honors.
The selection process for these teams is conducted by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association. The process is overseen by the ABCA NCAA Division III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee. The ABCA first recognized an All-America team in 1949.
