Bryan Moore Associate Executive Director | College Conference Of Wisconsin And Illinois
Carthage head coach Augie Schmidt IV has been recognized as the Region 8 Coach of the Year, as announced by D3baseball.com. Alongside this accolade, nine student-athletes from the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) have earned All-Region honors.
The Carthage Firebirds secured five spots on the All-Region teams. Zander Tubbs, Ryan Scanlon, and Bryce Schaum were named to the Second Team. Collin Callahan and Jake Hartman Jr. were selected for the Third Team.
Additional Second Team selections include Reyn Matsuzaki from North Park, Justin Gadomski from Illinois Wesleyan, and Sam Bushur from Millikin. Rutledge Feltel from Wheaton was honored on the Third Team.
Augie Schmidt IV's recognition highlights his leadership at Carthage, contributing to a successful season for both him and his players.
