North Central College's Braden Nicholson earned All-America First Team honors in both the 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters at the NCAA Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championship held in Geneva, Ohio. His performance contributed to the Cardinals' 13th-place finish with a total of 13 points. North Park University tied for 50th place with four points, while Millikin University and Illinois Wesleyan University were among those tying for 58th place with three points each.
The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) teams collectively secured five All-America First Team honors. Nicholson was victorious in the 10,000 meters and finished sixth in the 5,000 meters. Evan Lowder from Illinois Wesleyan achieved First-Team All-American status by placing sixth in the 400 meters. Jereme Ombogo of North Park secured fifth place in the 200 meters, and Kyle Hensley from Millikin finished sixth in the pole vault.
The final team standings saw North Central leading CCIW teams with their point tally, followed by North Park, Millikin, and Illinois Wesleyan.
Additionally, several athletes received Second Team All-American recognition. Augustana College's Mike Hudson placed tenth in the decathlon. Joe Langridge participated in the steeplechase while AJ Banks competed in hurdles events. Carroll University's Jimmy Hinkley performed well in hammer throw along with Carthage College's Lucas Leal. North Central’s BJ Sorg ran the 10,000-meter event while Wheaton College’s Ty Bova took part in high jump.
