Maureen Harty Executive Director | College Conference Of Wisconsin And Illinois
Eli Spence from Elmhurst College has been recognized as part of the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-America Third Team. Spence, who was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Offensive Student-Athlete of the Year, leads a group of CCIW players acknowledged for their performances this season.
In addition to Spence, five other student-athletes from the CCIW received Honorable Mentions. Matt Koshiol and Tony Vazquez from Elmhurst are among those honored. Vazquez was also distinguished as the CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year. Carthage's Ben Krok, Illinois Wesleyan's Timothy McHugh, and North Central's Aidan Murphy complete the list of CCIW players receiving Honorable Mentions.
The selection process for these honors involved nominations by coaches followed by voting from the All-American Committee.
