The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Baseball Championship saw its top two seeds, Illinois Wesleyan and North Central, maintain their unbeaten records with victories on Thursday. These wins set up a day-three clash between the two teams on Friday afternoon. Meanwhile, Carthage secured a 9-0 victory over Millikin, eliminating them from the tournament.

In Game 3, Illinois Wesleyan triumphed over Millikin with a score of 4-3. Matt Hudik's RBI single in the sixth inning completed a three-run rally for the Titans, securing the win. Hudik contributed significantly to the team's success alongside John Philip Ferraro, as both players recorded two hits each. The game was marked by a strong performance from Jake Pullam, who pitched six innings and struck out five to earn his seventh win of the season.

Game 4 featured North Central's narrow 3-2 victory against Carthage. The Cardinals built an early lead and managed to hold off a late rally by Carthage. John Michael Scumaci led North Central with two hits, while Chris Rogers pitched eight innings to secure his third win of the year.

In Game 5, Carthage rebounded with a dominant 9-0 win over Millikin. Ryan Scanlon delivered an impressive performance on the mound, striking out 11 batters in a complete-game shutout. PJ Moser contributed three hits for Carthage as they scored in six of nine innings.

The results from these games have set up an exciting matchup between Illinois Wesleyan and North Central as they compete for supremacy in the CCIW Baseball Championship.
