After securing their first College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Tournament victory, the Carroll University Women's Lacrosse team is set to compete in the NCAA Division-III Tournament. The Pioneers will face Lake Forest College on Saturday, May 10, at Denison University in Granville, Ohio. The match is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET/Noon CT, with the winner advancing to play against Denison in the second round.

Carroll University enters the tournament with a record of 13-3 and an undefeated conference season. They hold the sixth-best scoring defense in Division-III, allowing only 6.31 goals per game. Additionally, they lead their conference in several statistical categories including shots per game and draw control percentage.

Lake Forest College comes into the tournament with a record of 14-4 and a nine-game winning streak. The Foresters have been strong offensively, leading their conference in multiple categories such as assists per game and scoring offense. Jenna Doctor stands out as one of the top goal scorers nationally with 97 goals this season.

Emma Sharp has also made significant contributions for Lake Forest, ranking high nationally in assists and total points alongside Doctor. Lake Forest's achievements are further highlighted by eight All-Conference awards received by its players, including Savannah Frauhiger who was named NACC Defender of the Year.

The Lake Forest coaching staff, led by Head Coach Casey Ryan, earned recognition as NACC Coaching Staff of the Year.
