The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) is set to determine its baseball champion this weekend. Six teams will compete at Horenberger Field on the Illinois Wesleyan University campus in Bloomington, Illinois. The tournament begins Wednesday at 2 p.m.

This year marks the CCIW's 40th baseball championship, featuring eight games over four days and a potential ninth game on Saturday afternoon if needed. Wednesday's matches are single-elimination, with winners advancing to a double-elimination format starting Thursday.

Admission prices are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and children aged six and older. Children under five and CCIW students with valid ID can attend for free.

Illinois Wesleyan, with a 26-14 overall record and 16-4 in conference play, earned hosting rights by winning the regular-season title. This is the first time since 2013 that IWU has hosted the postseason tournament. They will play their first game on Thursday at noon against the lowest remaining seed after Wednesday's quarterfinals.

Wednesday kicks off with #4 Millikin facing #5 Wheaton at 2 p.m. Millikin swept Wheaton last weekend to secure the fourth seed after winning last year's championship against Augustana.

The second match features #3 Carthage against #6 North Park. The Firebirds previously won all three games in their April series against North Park.

North Central holds the second seed after sweeping North Park last weekend. They will join IWU in starting play on Thursday, facing the highest remaining seed from Wednesday's matches at 3:30 p.m.
