The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has released the 2025 All-CCIW Teams in women's lacrosse. Carroll University emerged as the leading team with eight players receiving All-CCIW honors, including standout performances from Elizabeth Wang and Abby Tubbs, who were respectively named CCIW Offensive Student-Athlete of the Year and CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year.
Michael Hodge, in his eleventh season with Carroll, received the CCIW Coach of the Year award for the second time. His leadership steered the Pioneers to their second league championship and the first outright title after a flawless 5-0 record in the CCIW schedule.
Illinois Wesleyan made its mark with senior Mia Fiandaca being recognized as the CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year, along with four other Titans securing spots on the All-CCIW teams. Fiandaca distinguished herself with a league-leading rate of 4.60 caused turnovers per game.
Wang, a sophomore, made history for Carroll by being the first to win the CCIW Offensive Student-Athlete of the Year award, leading the league with averages of 4.20 goals and 5.60 points per game. Tubbs, a freshman, also made a significant impact with an average of 6.60 draw controls per game and a third-place finish in scoring within the league.
The CCIW also acknowledged players with the CCIW RESPECT Award, highlighting exemplary sportsmanship, which included Carroll’s Abby Stas and Illinois Wesleyan’s Mallory Mills among others.
