The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has announced its selections for Men's Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week for events that took place from April 14 to April 20.
Dayton Lasack, a junior from Millikin University, was recognized in the track category. Lasack achieved a new Millikin record in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 53.66 seconds, securing third place at the Augustana Meet of Champions. His performance has earned him the top spot in the CCIW rankings for this season. Additionally, he recorded a personal-best time of 15.58 seconds in the 110 hurdles during the event.
In the field category, Kyle Hensley, a sophomore also from Millikin University, was acknowledged for his pole vault performance. Hensley achieved a season-best mark of 5.18 meters, winning the event at the Augustana Meet. His performance ties him for the top position in the Division III leaderboard in 2025.
The CCIW also listed previous winners for April in both categories. For the track category, the winners included Evan Lowder of Illinois Wesleyan on April 16, AJ Banks of Augustana on April 9, and Chase Upmann of Carthage on April 2. For the field category, Ty Bova of Wheaton was recognized on April 16, Tyler Rose of Carthage on April 9, and Lucas Leal of Carthage on April 2.
