The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has named Santiago Diaz as the Men's Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week. Diaz, a sophomore at Augustana and originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, played a pivotal role in the Vikings' victory over Wheaton. Last Tuesday, Diaz partnered with Aingeru Garcia in the #2 doubles, achieving a 6-2 win against opponents Andrew Winters and Andrew Jang.

In the singles category, Diaz showed resilience. Competing at #4 singles, he came from behind to defeat Jang in a three-set match with scores of 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.
