The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has announced its Softball Student-Athletes of the Week for performances during games held from Monday, April 14 to Sunday, April 20. Abby Whitehead from Wheaton College was recognized as the Hitter of the Week. Over the course of five matches, the sophomore from Flower Mound, Texas, achieved a .733 batting average with 11 hits. Her performance included two grand slams and two doubles, contributing to 10 runs batted in and seven runs scored. During a doubleheader against Eureka, Whitehead went 5-for-7 with a walk. In a later series against Mount Mary, she achieved a perfect 5-for-5 record at the plate, highlighted by a pinch-hit grand slam, and further success in game two with four hits in four at-bats.

Mallory Holland from Illinois Wesleyan was named Pitcher of the Week. The sophomore from Shelbyville, Illinois, played a significant role in the Titans’ undefeated week, pitching 17.2 innings with an ERA of 1.98 and six strikeouts. Holland's standout performance included a one-hit shutout victory over Elmhurst, where she secured three strikeouts without issuing a walk.

These athletes have been recognized consistently throughout the season for their contributions, with both Whitehead and Holland having earned the accolade on previous occasions in 2025.
