Carthage defeats Aurora in NCAA men's volleyball regional round

Carthage College's men's volleyball team claimed a straight-set victory against Aurora in an NCAA regional tournament match. The match ended with a 3-0 win for the Carthage team, which was ranked No. 6 at the time, against the No. 10 ranked Aurora.

Key contributors for Carthage included Owen Otto and Ben Heise, who had 12 and 11 kills, respectively. Ruben Emmerich led the team in aces with four. Ryan Morey provided 29 assists and also contributed three total blocks. Hudson Sweitzer supported the team's defensive efforts with three blocks, while Zack Noland and Owen Otto made 11 and 10 digs, respectively.

Carthage's next game is scheduled against No. 4-seed Springfield on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
