Bryan Moore Associate Executive Director | College Conference Of Wisconsin And Illinois
The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) achieved notable recognition in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Region IV awards. The conference managed to secure eight spots on the All-Region IV Team, as officially announced.
Corey Mayotte, a senior from Loras, received the title of Region IV Player of the Year, while Evan Dziadkowiec, also from Loras, earned the designation of Region IV Newcomer of the Year. Coach JW Kieckhefer from Carthage was honored with the Region IV Coach of the Year award, marking his second time receiving this title.
Carthage, the CCIW champion, distinguished itself by having four players chosen for the All-Region Team, a feat also accomplished by only four other teams in the country. The selection process yielded 56 student-athletes from 27 different schools for the All-Region status, with each of the four regions choosing 14 players along with a Player, Newcomer, and Coach of the Year.
