Bryan Moore Associate Executive Director | College Conference Of Wisconsin And Illinois

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has announced the selection of its Men's Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week for the competitions held between April 7 and April 13. On the track, Illinois Wesleyan's junior, Evan Lowder, impressed at the Normal Invite by running the 400 meters in 47.7 seconds. This performance placed him first in the CCIW and 15th in Division III. Additionally, Lowder contributed a 47.3-second split in the 4x400 relay, propelling his team to a top conference time and 16th nationally.

In the field events, Wheaton freshman Ty Bova achieved a personal best in the high jump with a leap of 2.06 meters at the Wheaton Invite. Bova's jump currently leads the CCIW and ranks him fourth on the national leaderboard.

The CCIW continues to recognize outstanding performances from its athletes, showcasing their talents on a national scale.
