NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has announced its selections for the Women's Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week for events held from April 7 to April 13.

In the track category, the Elmhurst College relay team, consisting of Tiana Grady, Lauren Marshall, Hannah Schwarz, and Alyssa Busker, secured the title at the Wheaton Invitational with a time of 45.73 seconds. This achievement marks the fastest time in Division III currently, sets a new Elmhurst record, and ranks as the fourth-fastest time in Division III history.

For the field category, Carlyssa King from Illinois Wesleyan achieved a personal record by throwing 53.94 meters to win the hammer throw at the Normal Invite on Saturday. This throw is the best in Illinois Wesleyan University's history, leads the CCIW, and stands sixth nationally.

Other noteworthy mentions in the CCIW selections for April include Alyssa Busker from Elmhurst and Nicole Tarpley from Carthage, as well as Heather Michalski of Augustana in previous weeks of the track and field events.
