The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has announced Jonah Swartz from Wheaton as the Men's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week for April 16, 2025. Swartz achieved this recognition after tying for first place in a 71-player field at the Hope College Bob Ebels Invitational, which took place last Friday and Saturday.

Swartz, who hails from Rapid City, South Dakota, posted a two-round score of 143 (+1). He shot a 72 (+1) in Friday's round, finishing the day tied for third place. On Saturday, Swartz delivered a round of 71 (E), which secured his top position. This marks Swartz's first medalist performance in his collegiate career and represents the first tournament win by a Wheaton golfer since September 2021. His performance contributed to Wheaton's second-place finish in an 11-team competition.
