The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced the Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week for the competitions held from March 31 to April 6. Alyssa Busker from Elmhurst earned the Track Athlete of the Week accolade. A graduate student from Plainfield, Illinois, Busker clinched first place in the 200 meters at the Chicagoland Invitational with a time of 23.95 seconds, setting a new record for Elmhurst. This was the fastest performance in the CCIW outdoor season and second in Division III standings. Additionally, she contributed to Elmhurst University's victorious 4x400 meter relay team.

Nicole Tarpley from Carthage was named the Field Athlete of the Week. The graduate student from Bloomingdale, Illinois, triumphed in both the hammer throw and discus at the Wisconsin Private College Championships in Milwaukee. Tarpley achieved a personal best in the discus with a 45.61-meter throw, which ranks sixth nationally and first in the CCIW. Her hammer throw also hit a personal best of 51.09 meters, securing the third spot in the CCIW and ranking 13th in Division III.

The CCIW's list of outstanding athletes for the week included Alyssa Busker on April 9 for the track category and Nicole Tarpley for the field category. Previously on April 2, recognition was given to the Elmhurst 4x100 relay team consisting of Grady, Marshall, Schwarz, and Busker, as well as Heather Michalski from Augustana for the field category.
