Wheaton College is set to compete against North Central in a baseball game this Friday at 3 p.m. Central Time. The coming weekend will also see Millikin clashing with Augustana, and Carthage facing Carroll, with doubleheaders scheduled for Saturday. Elmhurst will play against Illinois Wesleyan, and North Central will meet Wheaton again for a doubleheader, both on Saturday.

An array of games will take place on Sunday and into next week, featuring matchups like Carroll versus Carthage, Illinois Wesleyan against Elmhurst, and North Central opposing Illinois Tech.

On a national level, several players from Carthage, Carroll, Illinois Wesleyan, and North Central are standing out in Division III rankings for various individual performance metrics. These include impressive statistics in strikeouts, doubles, on-base percentages, walks, and triples per game.

In recent performances within the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW), key players have made significant contributions to their teams. Notable achievements include Augustana's Ethan Sosnowski elevating his batting average with multi-hit games, and Carroll's Jack Piper earning his first career win while maintaining a strong ERA. Carthage's Collin Callahan continues his hitting streak, and Elmhurst's Zach Konrad helped secure a win with a crucial hit. Illinois Wesleyan’s Jake Pullam leads pitchers with a 2.33 ERA. Millikin’s Joey Niebrugge and North Central's Chris Rogers delivered strong performances, contributing to their teams' successes.
