The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has announced its selections for the Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week. The announcements were made on Wednesday for the competitions held between March 24 and March 30.

In the track category, the Elmhurst 4x100 relay team, consisting of Tiana Grady, Lauren Marshall, Hannah Schwarz, and Alyssa Busker, claimed first place at the Yellow Jacket Outdoor Open hosted by Cedarville in Ohio. Their timing of 46.20 seconds set a new record for Elmhurst and is the 14th fastest in Division III history. "They currently lead the NCAA by 0.58 seconds."

For the field category, Heather Michalski, a senior from North Aurora, Illinois, representing Augustana, achieved the nation’s second-ranked throw in Division III javelin with a mark of 42.90 meters. This performance occurred last weekend at the Southern Miss Invitational in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. "The mark ranked second all-time at Augustana and was the top attached mark at the meet hosted by Division I Southern Miss."

The selections highlight the notable achievements of these athletes in their respective disciplines.
