23 CCIW players earn Academic All-District Honors in basketball

Mariellyn Vivo Conference Coordinator | College Conference Of Wisconsin And Illinois

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) proudly announced that 23 of its student-athletes have been named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District Men's Basketball Team. The selections, made by College Sports Communicators (CSC), honor those excelling in athletics and academics.

CSC's announcement singles out athletes for their on-court and classroom achievements. Those marked as CSC Academic All-America finalists, who are denoted with an asterisk, will advance to the national ballot. The final results from this ballot will be publicly revealed on April 16, 2025.

Representatives were named from several CCIW institutions. From Augustana, Anthony Cooper and Chase Larsen made the list. Carroll had Dom Burns, Jacob Naber, Justin Steinike, and Erik Victorson selected. Carthage's AJ Williams was honored, alongside Aidyn Boone and John Witcher from Elmhurst.

Illinois Wesleyan lists Trey Bazzell, Karlo Colak, Mason Funk, and Nick Roper, with Roper advancing as a finalist. Millikin's names include Lane Thoman, Chase Travis, and JT Welch. Representing North Central are Tyler DiSilvio, Sean Molloy, and Tyler Swierczek.

Wheaton saw four players selected: Noah Hedrick, Kyle Neibch, Soren Richardson, and Steven Schultz, with Richardson marked as a finalist.
