Olivia Rangel from Carroll University and Lauren Huber from Illinois Wesleyan University have been named to the D3hoops.com All-America Third Team. This announcement was made on Saturday.

Rangel, who had already been recognized as a Preseason All-America Third Team selection by D3hoops, also received the Lori Kerans CCIW Most Outstanding Student-Athlete award this season. She earned her fourth consecutive First Team All-Conference selection and was a unanimous pick for the second year in a row. Additionally, she is one of 10 finalists for the Jostens Trophy.

In her senior year, Rangel ranked 35th in Division III for scoring average with 18.7 points per game, leading the conference in this category. She also topped the CCIW in assists per game (4.7) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.51), ranking 28th and 80th nationally in these categories respectively. A two-time All-America honoree, Rangel ranks second in the conference and 32nd nationally in steals per game (2.96). Her field goal percentage of .468 places her fourth in the league and 94th nationally.

During this season, Rangel set new records at Carroll for career assists and steals while breaking the school's single-season record for steals. She concludes her college career ranked fourth in program history with 1,653 career points.

Lauren Huber received Third Team All-America honors after previously being named to a fifth team earlier in her career. She broke Illinois Wesleyan's all-time scoring record, which had stood for nearly three decades, finishing with exactly 1,700 points and averaging 15 points per game this season. Huber is tied for second all-time at IWU with 884 career rebounds, averaging 7.8 rebounds per contest this season.

Huber was recently named a WBCA All-Star as well as a WBCA Coaches All-America selection. Twice honored as CCIW's Player of the Week and once part of D3hoops' Team of the Week, she was also a Preseason All-America selection by D3hoops.com and nominated for the Allstate NACDA Good Works Team. Throughout IWU's season, Huber scored double digits in 26 out of their 30 games while achieving six games with over twenty points and six double-doubles.
