Illinois Wesleyan University's senior, Lauren Huber, has been named a NCAA Division III Coaches’ All-American by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA). The announcement was made on Wednesday. Huber, who previously earned unanimous All-CCIW First Team honors and was included in the D3hoops.com All-Region 8 Team, is one of only 12 players from Division III to receive this recognition.
The WBCA NCAA Division III Awards Committee selects the Coaches’ All-America team from nominees put forward by WBCA member coaches. Alongside Huber's achievement, IWU head coach Mia Smith has been recognized as one of 12 finalists for the WBCA Division III Coach of the Year award.
Additionally, Carroll University's Natalie Gricius and Olivia Rangel received honorable mentions for the All-America team. Both Huber and Rangel were earlier acknowledged as members of the 2025 Women's Collegiate All-Star Team by the WBCA. The upcoming Women's Collegiate All-Star Game will take place at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 22, before the NCAA Division III women's basketball national championship game at Roanoke College's Cregger Center in Salem, Virginia.
