Bryan Moore Associate Executive Director | College Conference Of Wisconsin And Illinois
The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has announced the Men's Volleyball Student-Athletes of the Week for matches played from March 10 to March 16.
Ben Heise, a sophomore from Carthage, was recognized as the Hitter of the Week. Heise achieved 15 kills on 31 attempts without errors, contributing to Carthage's victory over Aurora. His performance also included six digs, three block assists, and a service ace.
Ryan Morey, a junior from Carthage, was named Setter of the Week. Morey recorded 42 assists, eight digs, and four kills in the same match against Aurora. This marks his third consecutive selection by CCIW and his fourth in five weeks.
Max Sellers from Augustana earned Defensive Player of the Week honors after achieving 17 digs during a league sweep against Illinois Wesleyan. Sellers also provided two assists in Augustana's first league win.
The weekly recognition continues with previous awardees listed for each category dating back to January 20.
