Illinois Wesleyan University's women's basketball team has secured the fourth position in the latest national rankings. The rankings were released by D3hoops.com on Monday and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) on Tuesday.

The Titans, with a record of 26-1, recently won the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Tournament held in Bloomington. They defeated Millikin in the semifinals last Friday and overcame Carroll in Saturday's final.

In terms of points, Illinois Wesleyan received 220 in the coaches' poll and 559 from D3hoops.com. New York University (NYU), with an undefeated record of 25-0, holds the top spot unanimously in both polls. Bowdoin follows at number two with a perfect 27-0 record. Scranton is third on the D3hoops.com list with a record of 26-1, while Christopher Newport takes third place according to the coaches' ranking.

The Titans are set to begin their NCAA Tournament journey this Friday against Centre College at 7:30 p.m., hosted at their own Shirk Center.
