The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has announced the Women's Lacrosse Student-Athletes of the Week for performances between February 12 and February 23.

Elizabeth Wang, a sophomore from Carroll, was recognized for her offensive contributions. In the season-opening match against Lake Forest, Wang achieved seven points with six goals and one assist. Her efforts were crucial in securing a narrow 10-9 victory for the Pioneers. Additionally, she collected three ground balls and caused a turnover while maintaining a perfect record on free position shots, scoring three out of three attempts.

On the defensive side, Jacq Vanoni, a junior from Elmhurst, played a pivotal role in her team's success. She contributed to an 11-3 win by making eight saves during the game held at Langhorst Field. Vanoni faced a total of 19 shots and secured the win as goalkeeper for the Bluejays.

Both athletes demonstrated exceptional skills in their respective positions during these early-season matches.
