The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) men's volleyball teams are preparing for a busy schedule in the coming days. Several matches are lined up, with key games involving top-ranked teams and standout players.

Carthage has climbed to fifth place in the latest AVCA rankings, while North Central re-entered the poll at 19th. Loras remains steady at 12th, giving CCIW three teams in the top 20. NYU leads the rankings with 19 first-place votes, followed by Southern Virginia and Vassar.

Loras senior Corey Mayotte is leading Division III with an average of 6.13 points per set and tops the national charts with 5.11 kills per set. North Park's Noah Chanthalangsy ranks fifth nationally with 3.46 digs per set, while Loras freshman Evan Dziadkowiec is sixth in assists per set.

Augustana's Colin Schaefer made headlines by becoming the first CCIW player this season to record over 50 assists in a match, achieving 57 against Wittenberg. Carthage's Owen Otto was named CCIW Hitter of the Week after his performance against Dominican.

Illinois Wesleyan's Brenden Reutter received both CCIW Setter of the Week and AVCA Player of the Week honors following consecutive triple-doubles last week. North Central’s Tyler Donovan recorded significant career milestones in assists and service aces during their recent victory over Adrian.

Upcoming matches include Thursday’s game between #12 Loras and Marian at 7:00 p.m., as well as MSOE facing #19 North Central at the same time. On Friday, North Park will play Adrian at Grand Rapids, Michigan, while Benedictine visits Carthage.

North Park's Ty Ingrao contributed significantly to his team's recent success against Olivet with personal season highs in points scored and hitting percentage.

The upcoming schedule promises competitive action as these athletes continue to make their mark on Division III volleyball.
