Alexander Jackson, a sophomore from Illinois Wesleyan, has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Wrestling Student-Athlete of the Week. The announcement was made on Tuesday afternoon by the league office.

Jackson achieved a second-place finish at the Brown-Terrell Dubuque Invite in the 285-pound category last Saturday, ending with a 3-1 record. His victories were marked by three pins. He began with a swift 39-second fall against Hunter Hahn of Dubuque and continued with a quarterfinal pin in 1:58 over Noah Carl from Cornell. In the semifinal round, he secured his final win of the day with a fall in 1:16 against Mason Kochersberger from Carthage.

The CCIW also recognized other student-athletes for their performances throughout the season. Notable mentions include Rhenzo Augusto from Elmhurst, who was honored on February 4 and January 21, Carlos Munoz-Flores from Aurora on January 28, and Payton Geigner from North Central on January 14.
