Rep. Sean Casten, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Illinois’ 6th district, has been actively engaging with his constituents through social media. Born in Dublin, Ireland in 1971 and residing in Downers Grove, Casten has served since 2019 after succeeding Peter Roskam.

On January 21, 2025, Rep. Sean Casten announced the introduction of three bills aimed at reducing harmful emissions contributing to global warming. He expressed pride in this legislative effort by stating: "ICYMI: Last week, I was proud to introduce three bills focused on reducing harmful emissions that lead to global warming."

Later that day, Casten encouraged community involvement for an upcoming initiative supporting veterans as Valentine's Day approached. He urged people to send valentines by February 7th by posting: "Valentine’s Day is less than a month away! Help send appreciation to our veterans next month by mailing or dropping off valentines by Friday, February 7."

On January 22, he highlighted the efforts of his office in assisting constituents with federal agencies. He invited individuals seeking help to visit his website for more information: "My office works hard to help constituents navigate federal agencies. To see how we can assist you, visit my website."
