State Representative Amy Grant from Wheaton is acknowledging January 2025 as National Blood Donor Month. She is urging Illinois residents to take part in blood donation efforts that can save lives.

National Blood Donor Month, initiated in 1969, emphasizes the importance of regular blood donations, particularly during winter when supplies are typically low. The campaign aims to raise awareness and encourage new donors to contribute to public health across the United States.
