The Rotary Run Charity Classic, also known as Hinsdale's Family Run, celebrates its 29th year of running strong! A lot has changed in the past 29 years, but the Rotary Run continues to provide reasonable costs, a discounted family fee, and races for every member of your family, regardless of their ability level. Money raised goes toward humanitarian work in your community and around the world. T-shirts and bibs can be picked up on Sept. 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Oct. 1 from 6:30 to 8 a.m. at The Community House, located at 415 W. 8th St. in Hinsdale. Sizes and quantity of T-shirts cannot be guaranteed if participants register after Sept. 15.

Château du Parc – Opening Evening Cocktail Party will be a night to remember. This event will feature music and food. Dan and Mimi Collins will offer a tour of their home so you can witness preservation and restoration in action. Explore before and after photos of this home's makeover with the Historical Tourist app from the Hinsdale Historical Society, which supports initiatives to preserve history and architecture of the village. The R. Harold Zook Home and Studio will benefit from all sales. This event will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Collins home, located at 420 S. Park Ave. in Hinsdale. Cost of admission ranges from $40 to $150.
