DuPage County municipal officials, including mayors, village board members and school board members, are on the ballot on April 4, the first Tuesday in April.

A total of 686 candidates will compete for 252 municipal offices, including 52 contests for city and village, 99 for park, fire and library boards and 68 for school boards.

There are also six voter referendums on the April 4 ballot.

In 2021, the last DuPage County Consolidated Election, it had 629,137 registered voters and 104,259 cast ballots, or 16.57 percent.

In the 2019 DuPage County Consolidated Election, it had 652,580 registered voters and 96,835 cast ballots, or 14.84 percent.
