Books including animated porn have been yanked from libraries throughout the state of Florida under the leadership of that state’s chief executive, Gov. Ron DeSantis, a likely candidate for president.

The volumes removed include animated portrayals of sex scenes that have drawn criticism from parents around the nation for being overly sexual and unsuitable for kids. In Illinois, very few districts have made such efforts.

While the move to remove the books from public school libraries has been derided by leftists as “censorship,” the excerpted pages detail the explicit nature of the books. When parents have spoken up at school board meetings they are often slandered as being anti-LGBT. However, in some areas of the state school boards have taken decisive action in removing animated porn from school libraries. Machesney Park-based Harlem School District 122 Board of Education removed the infamous book "Gender Queer," along with other titles, in mid-2022.

That book along with many others were found to be objectionable by parents in that district, which took quick action.

"It’s porn," Lynette Hofman said, according to WIFR. "We're talking incest, molestation and pedophilia."

Meanwhile, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker has leaned into the fight, calling those who would remove such animated porn even from elementary school libraries as “demagogues who are pushing censorship."

“It’s an ideological battle by the right-wing, hiding behind a claim that they would protect our children – but whose real intention is to marginalize people and ideas they don’t like,” Pritzker said. “This has been done in the past, and it doesn’t stop with just snuffing out ideas.”

In many parts of Illinois, radical leftists have deemed parents who have sought to remove such materials from public school libraries as “homophobic” and “racist.”

The FBI under the Biden administration has also gone after parents protesting the books. Terry Newsome, a parent-activist from Downers Grove, was placed on an FBI terror watch list after his comments against including animated porn in libraries over the course of the past few years. Due to his school board activism, the Southern Poverty Law Center has published at least two articles portraying Newsome as a far-right lunatic.

“We are in a war for our country and children's futures,” Newsome told DuPage Policy Journal

“Our kids are suffering because parents weren’t aware of what’s going on in their children’s school," Newsome said. "Or they didn’t have the courage to speak up for their kids. If you don’t have the courage to stand up for your children, you won’t take a stance for anything.” Newsome said the FBI was “weaponized” against him due to his activism.

While Pritzker and the Biden administration have sought to silence parents speaking out against animated porn, Pritzker has been silent on the very real censorship the federal government has taken in tandem with social media giants Twitter and Facebook to limit online discourse.

The FBI and other U.S. intelligence agencies have been involved in a growing scandal involving a widespread censorship campaign revealed by the Twitter Files. The House Judiciary subcommittee on the “weaponization” of the federal government is being led by U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) who has been highly critical of what has been dubbed the “censorship industrial complex” by journalist Matt Taibbi.

The increasing scrutiny of intelligence agencies began with the Twitter Files exposing the role of intelligence agencies in successfully burying the New York Post’s bombshell reporting on Hunter Biden’s laptop.

That reporting revealed a string of emails revealing questionable relationships, including tens to of millions of dollars provided to the president’s ne’er do well son along with photos of him in sexual situations with prostitutes and smoking what appears to be a crack pipe.

The story was censored from social media and the New York Post’s Twitter account was taken down altogether, limiting its traction before the 2020 presidential election. More recently, the Twitter Files have exposed the Biden administration’s zeal for authoritarianism spirit in censoring truthful information including details surrounding the so-called “lab leak theory” in which COVID-19 is proposed to have been created in lab in Wuhan, China.

The theory received new life a few weeks ago when endorsed by the Department of Energy and the FBI.
