A Victorian Christmas Celebration Din...Set a Reminder
Description: Come enjoy an old-fashioned Christmas with the Glen Ellyn Historical Society! We have a new event, a fundraiser for GEHS, on Saturday, Dec. 4. Tour Stacy's Tavern Museum, decorated with fresh greens and lighted by candlelight, from 5 - 6 p.m. Meanwhile, hors d'oeuvres and drink will be available in the History Center from 5 - 6 p.m. Beginning at 6:00 p.m., a traditional Christmas dinner including turkey and ham will be served buffet-style in the History Center, followed by special Yuletide desserts. At 7:30 p.m., we will have a concert by costumed carolers, the Festive Singers. This will be a truly memorable evening. The event is a fundraiser for the Glen Ellyn Historical Society. Tickets are $100 and can be purchased in our gift shop or by phone at 630.469.1867. Limited seating for this great event, so be sure to purchase tickets soon! Have some Victorian or holiday garb?
