The Elmhurst University wrestling team wrapped up competition at the Concordia University Wisconsin Open, wrestling against top competition in the nation. The Bluejays placed two wrestlers in the top-eight of their division, with Troy Mock placing eighth at 141 and Roberto Pena placing seventh while taking the consolation bracket championship at 285. 

The team as a whole placed a wrestler into the championship bracket at every weight class, with nine Bluejay wrestlers advancing to the second championship round at their weight class (Joe Forano, Jake Mora, Justin Hames at 133, Zach Kolb at 149, Jeff Nugent at 165, Joe Caringella and Liam Cote at 174, Colin O'Neill at 197, Pena at 285).

Mock was able to bounce back from a loss to Ethan Renager (Wheaton College) in the first round of the championship bracket to make a run all the way to the consolation bracket championship match, receiving a bye in the first round before defeating Palmer Larson (Wheaton College), Connor Smenata (North Central), and Kolten Crawford (Loras) to reach the consolation championship match. Mock then fell by major decision to Josh Cherba (North Central) in the consolation championship match, giving Mock an eighth place finish. Overall, Mock was 4-2 in matches on the day.

Pena recieved a bye in the first championship round before falling to Jack Heldt (Wabash) in the second round of the championship bracket. Pena then rattled off four-straight victories to take the consolation bracket championship match by fall over Grant Johnson (Wabash). Overall, Pena went 4-1 in matches on the day.
