Democrats have been inappropriately pushing gender identity in political terms, Kara Dansky, a lifelong Democrat and activist, told Chicago's Morning Answer.

Danksy is a feminist author and president of the U.S. Chapter of Women’s Declaration Women International.

“It’s really important to understand that this is just hypersexualization. If libraries and schools presented women behaving in that hypersexualized manner, it would never be allowed," Dansky said. "But men acting as if they are hypersexualized women — which is of course, a lie, they’re men. Somehow this is allowed and championed and celebrated as some sort of freedom. It’s really not. It’s just regressive sex stereotypes.”

Dansky said the entire "trans" movement is built on a lie pushed by self-described "queer theorists," who believe sex is a social construct that doesn't really exist.

"That’s why the queer theorists had to invent the word transgender, which doesn’t actually mean anything," she said. "Because if the queer theorists tried to tell ordinary Americans across the political spectrum that sex isn’t real, they would have been laughed at and ridiculed, and justifiably so. So they invented the word ‘transgender.’”

The Downers Grove Library cancelled a Drag Queen Bingo event amid “threats” after the event was publicized. Credible threats were not uncovered in a police report from the time of the outrage. Police sought no further investigation after a Facebook post was removed and a caller phoned the library to express his disgust over the event being aimed at children.

The show was to include a drag performance by a cross-dresser better known for a raunchy late night act, DuPage Policy Journal reported.

Dansky notes her background on her website.

“Kara Dansky is a public speaker, writer and consultant who is committed to protecting the rights, privacy and safety of women and girls on the basis of sex in law and throughout society,” her website reads. “In November 2021, she published the groundbreaking work 'The Abolition of Sex: How the ‘Transgender’ Agenda Harms Women and Girls.' She currently serves as president of the U.S. chapter of Women’s Declaration International (WDI), which seeks to promote the declaration on women's sex-based rights. She served on the board of the Women's Liberation Front from 2016 to 2020. Kara is also an attorney with a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a B.A. from the Johns Hopkins University, and an extensive background in criminal justice law and policy.”

Dansky is also former senior counsel of the ACLU Center of Justice. During her time at the ACLU, she wrote heavily on police and criminal justice system abuse.

Dansky describes herself as a radical feminist. She came out in support of Dave Chappelle after he was disabused by LGBT activists for telling jokes about transexuals, the New York Post reported.
