6. PROCUREMENT REQUISITIONS

A. DT-P-0238-22 Recommendation for the approval of a contract to LRS Holdings, LLC, d/b/a Lakeshore Recycling Systems, LLC, for solid waste disposal services, as needed for the Division of Transportation, for the period September 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023, for a contract total not to exceed $45,000, subject to three (3) one-year renewals; per bid quote 22-083-DOT.

B. DT-P-0239-22 Recommendation for approval of a contract issued to Santacruz Associates, Ltd., d/b/a Santacruz Land Acquisitions, for Professional Right-of-Way Negotiation Services, as needed for the Division of Transportation, for a contract total amount of $100,000; Other Professional Service not subject to competitive bidding per 55 ILCS 5/5-1022(c). Vendor selected pursuant to DuPage County Code Section 2- 353(1)(b)

8. AMENDING RESOLUTIONS

A. Amendment -- DT-R-0522A-21 Amendment to resolution DT-R-0522-21 a Local Public Agency Agreement between the County of DuPage and the Illinois Department of Transportation, for improvements along 87th Street (an accounting adjustment).

B. Amendment -- DT-R-0953A-18 – Amendment to Resolution DT-R-0953-18 issued to the City of Darien, for mowing of grass and vegetation growing along the roads and rights of-way under the jurisdiction of the County of DuPage, to decrease the funding in the amount of $30.00 and close, resulting in a final County cost of $123,150, a decrease of 0.02%.

C. Amendment -- DT-R-0400A-20 – Amendment to Resolution DT-R-0400-20 issued to Brothers Asphalt, for the 2020 Downers Grove Township Road Maintenance Program, to decrease the funding in the amount of $1,129.08 and close, resulting in a final County cost of $782,260.43, a decrease of 0.14%.

D. Amendment -- DT-R-0338B-20 – Amendment to Resolution DT-R-0338A-20 issued to the Schroeder Asphalt Services, Inc., for the Lisle Township 2020 Road Maintenance Program, to decrease the funding in the amount of $2,697.38 and close, resulting in a final County cost of $800,157.62, a decrease of 0.34%.

E. Amendment -- DT-R-0338A-21 – Amendment to Resolution DT-R-0338-21 issued to the Herlihy Mid-Continent Company, for the improvements along CH 7/St. Charles Road over the East Branch of the DuPage River, to decrease the funding in the amount of $12,580.76 and close, resulting in a final County cost of $255,359.24, a decrease of 4.7%.

F. Amendment -- DT-R-0232C-14 – Amendment to Resolution DT-R-0232B-14 Local Agency Agreement with the Illinois Department of Transportation, for improvements to CH 21/Fabyan Parkway at Illinois Route 38, Section 11-00210-04-CH, to decrease the funding in the amount of $4,313.01 and close, resulting in a final County cost of $1,588,346.99, a decrease of 0.27%.

G. Amendment -- DT-R-0306A-22-Amendment to resolution DT-R-0306-22 to authorize the Division of Transportation to process FY 2023 and FY 2024 recommended vehicle replacement purchase orders, broadening the scope of vehicles and cooperatives.

9. INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENTS

A. DT-R-0322-22 RESOLUTION -- Intergovernmental Agreement between the County of DuPage and City of Naperville to extend road resurfacing beyond County Rights-of-Way on multiple side streets along Hobson Road, within the City. County to be reimbursed $19,539.19.

B. DT-R-0323-22 RESOLUTION -- Intergovernmental Agreement between the County of DuPage and the Lisle Township Road District to extend road resurfacing beyond County Rights-of-Way on multiple side streets along Hobson Road, within Lisle Township. County to be reimbursed $14,765.72.

10. AUTHORIZATION TO TRAVEL

A. Authorization for Overnight Travel -- Manager of Highway Operations to travel to Bloomington, Illinois from October 25, 2022 through October 26, 2022 to attend the annual Illinois Public Works Mutual Aide Network Conference. Expenses to include lodging, for an estimated County cost of $85.

B. Authorization for Overnight Travel -- Highway Maintenance Supervisor to travel to Bloomington, Illinois from October 25, 2022 through October 26, 2022 to attend the annual Illinois Public Works Mutual Aide Network Conference. Expenses to include lodging, for an estimated County cost of $85.

C. Authorization for Overnight Travel -- Highway Maintenance Supervisor to travel to Bloomington, Illinois from October 25, 2022 through October 26, 2022 to attend the annual Illinois Public Works Mutual Aide Network Conference. Expenses to include lodging, for an estimated County cost of $85.

D.
