For the second time this season, Elmhurst's Noah Mickelson has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's Defensive Player of the Week in men's lacrosse.
Mickelson, a sophomore goalkeeper from Mattawan, Mich., earned the honor for his part in the Bluejays' 12-7 road win at Augustana on Saturday. He played all 60 minutes in goal and recorded 15 saves and a .682 saves percentage in the contest. He currently ranks fifth in NCAA Division III in save percentage at 65 percent.
Elmhurst owns a 10-4 overall record and earned a spot in the NCAA Regional Rankings last week. The Bluejays are 2-2 in the CCIW play and play host to Carthage College on Wednesday, April 27.
