3. PRESENTATION

A. ARPA Portal Discussion - Finance Department

Mary Catherine Wells, Deputy Chief Financial Officer, presented on the proposed ARPA Portal. Board Member feedback was requested on the program's structure. Two options were discussed for distributing funds among Fire Districts, Park Districts and Townships. Members agreed that the option to give each entity their own allocation would be better than to lump all three entities into one bucket of funds. Members also agreed to increase the proposed allocations to $3M for Fire Districts, $3M for Townships and $1M for Park Districts, for a total allocation of $7M. Mary Catherine Wells and Board Members agreed that allowing for a mix of grants and reimbursements will be most beneficial for the program.
