Unlawful Possession of Cannabis by Driver

At 2:16 p.m an officer traveling eastbound 75 Street was passed by a vehicle and observed the driver using an electronic communication device. The officer stopped the vehicle at 401 75 Street

Hanna Wollitz, 21, of 1221 Clover Avenue, Rockford was cited for unlawful possession of cannabis by driver, smoked or tinted lens cover and using an electronic communication device. Wollitz was given a court date of April 14, 2022 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

At 11:41 p.m. an officer on patrol observed a vehicle westbound on Plainfield Road speeding. Radar confirmed a speed of 58 mph in a 40 mph zone. The officer stopped the vehicle westbound on Boulder Drive. Joseph Pikul, 31, of 1715 Boulder Drive Darien was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on the wrong side of the road, improper lane usage and speeding.

Pikul was given a court date of April 19, 2022 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

Unlawful Possession of Alcohol

At 12:30 a.m. a officer on patrol on Cass Avenue observed a vehicle with no registration plate

light. The officer stopped the vehicle at Cass Avenue and North Frontage. Jordan Barreto, 19, of 337 Ozark Drive, Bolingbrook was cited for possession of alcohol by driver and driving without registration light. Barreto was given a court date of May 5, 2022 at DuPage County Judicial Center

Driving While License Revoked

At 10:31 a.m. a officer in the parking lot of 2300 Oakmont Way observed a vehicle in the rain with no headlights or taillights on. The vehicle veered left and the tires were, on the solid yellow line. The officer stopped the vehicle on White Deer Trail. Charles Donahue, 41, of 1518 Sisson

Street, Lockport was arrested for a Class 2 Felony charge of driving while license revoked 15 or more violations, improper lane usage, improper lighting and operating uninsured motor vehicle. Donahue was transported by Darien police to DuPage county jail for a bond hearing.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

At 2:07 a.m an officer observed a vehicle driving erratically on Cass Avenue at Plainfield Road. Radar confirmed a speed of 56 mph in a 40 mph zone. The officer stopped the vehicle at 1010

Plainfield Road. Davida Wilson, 38, of 5729 Michigan Avenue, Chicago was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and failure to signal. Wilson was given a court date of April 26, 2022 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

Retail Theft th At 1:13 a.m officers were dispatched to Walmart, 2189 75 Street for a retail theft of a television. An officer enroute to the scene observed a vehicle and occupant matching the description of the subject involved in the retail theft, exiting the lot. The officer stopped the th vehicle at 75 Street and Lyman Avenue Johnny O’Neal, 48, of 6530 S. Bishop Street, Chicago was arrested for felony retail theft.O’Neal was transported by Darien police to DuPage County Judicial center.

Retail Theft

At 3:57 p.m an officer was dispatched to Walmart, 2189 75 Street for a retail theft offender in

custody. A loss prevention official observed the offender in the self-checkout line scanning a price tag from lower priced food items even though scanned items were clothing. Edmond Brand, 35, of 9S122 Frontage Road Willowbrook, was charged with retail theft. Brand was given

a court date of April 26, 2022 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

Retail Theft

At 9:30 p.m officers were dispatched to the Walmart, 2189 75 Street for a retail theft offenders in custody. A loss prevention official observed offenders putting smaller items in a larger item

and only scanning one item and attempting to exit store. Luis Alvarez Carrillo, 27, and Jaime Carillo, 23, of 309 Pierce Street, Aurora were both charged with retail theft and given a court date of April 21, 2022 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

th At 10:20 p.m officers were on scene in Walmart 2189 75 Street and were advised by Walmart security of offenders stopped and attempting to exit the store with no receipt. A review of the receipt showed not all items scanned. Joshua Mendoza, 27, of 140 Ann Street, Clarendon Hills

was charged with retail theft. Mendoza was given a court date of April 19, 2022 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
