Fine arts college and career night tonight
Plan to attend our district fine arts college and career night from 6 to 9 p.m. today in Rider Hall at Glenbard East. The event includes a college fair with representatives from the College of DuPage and several universities and colleges. Afterwards, keynote from Zeshan B, a Glenbard East graduate who is a singer and performer, who has performed on Late Night with Stephen Colbert and for two presidents.
There also will be an admissions panel with representatives from various institutions who will provide information about admissions, auditioning and submitting portfolios for programs.
The night will close out with breakout sessions in the areas of music, art, photography, film, theatre and dance. The breakout sessions include a panel with faculty from various colleges and universities, as well as Glenbard alumni who will discuss their experiences. There also will be a question-and-answer session for students.
