February 28 Village Board Meeting Available Online
The February 28 Village Board meeting is posted on the Village's YouTube channel. A video recording of the meeting is available for the public to view.
The next Village Board meeting is scheduled for March 14. The public may submit a comment or question for Village Board consideration ahead of time by using the Village Board Meeting Public Participation form by 4:00 p.m. the day of the meeting.
Live comments will also be accepted by in-person attendees during the meeting
Chicago Northwest Eat Local Week Starts Friday, March 4
Meet Chicago Northwest, the area's local visitor and convention bureau, is showcasing Eat Local Week starting tomorrow through March 13. This annual culinary celebration of the northwest suburbs finest dining will feature specials and discounts for over 40 area restaurants.

Applications Open for Rose Parade Entries
In partnership with the Village of Roselle, the Roselle Chamber of Commerce & Industry is excited to bring back the Rose Parade, as we celebrate the Village’s 100th birthday. The 61st Annual Rose Parade will step off from Turner Park on Sunday, June 5 at 2:00 p.m.
As always, local businesses, organizations, and community groups are invited to participate in the parade. New this year, a Best in Class contest will be held, with entries judged and awarded for overall presentation.
Rose Parade Enttry applications will be accepted by the Roselle Chamber of Commerce through April 29, 2022.
Centennial Hidden Shamrock Challenge Runs Through March 17
Roselle Girl Scout Troops 55800 and 50572 created a new challenge to celebrate Roselle's Centennial. The scouts painted 100 rocks with shamrocks and hid them around the downtown Roselle area. 
Find and take the hidden rocks and post a picture of them to the Hidden Shamrock Challenge Facebook page to enter the contest. The top three people/families that find the most rocks will win a prize! The Hidden Shamrock Challenge contest runs through March 17. Winners will be contacted via Facebook by March 30.
Bloomingdale Township Hosting Electronic Recycling Event April 2
The Bloomingdale Township Road District is offering an electronics recycling event open to all DuPage County residents on Saturday, April 2 at their facility, 6N030 Rosedale Ave., Bloomingdale, from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
Fees apply for TVs and monitors ($25 for up to 21 inches, and $35 for 21 inches and above). All other electronic recycling is free. Visit the Bloomingdale Township Road District website for a full list of accepted items and applicable fees.
The Village’s waste hauler, Flood Brothers Disposal, also offers curbside electronic and hazardous waste collection on a per-charge basis, $25 for up to six items, with no more than two televisions allowed per pickup. Residents need to contact Flood Brothers at (630) 261-0400 at least 24 hours in advance to arrange for these services. For a list of other electronic recycling programs, please visit the Village of Roselle website. 
Roselle Arts & Culture Foundation Raising Funds for Public Art Initiatives
Support the Roselle Arts & Culture Foundation on March 28 by participating in their Dine in or Take Out & Donate fundraiser at Chick-fil-A, 345 W Army Trail Road, Bloomingdale. Ten percent of proceeds from orders placed between 5:00 and 9:00 p.m. will go toward the foundation.
The fundraiser benefits public art projects, including the centennial mosaic art project to create a wall mural in Civic Plaza at the corner of Main and Prospect Streets for all to enjoy for many years to come.
Roselle Park District Hosting Community Blood Drive March 4
American Legion Post 1084 Offering Friday Fish Fry Carry Out Dinners
American Legion Post 1084 is offering carry out fish fry dinners every Friday night from March 4 through April 15 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 344 E. Maple Ave.
The fish fry carry out dinners cost $12 per person, $10 per veteran, and $8 for children. Meals include three pieces of fried cod, fries, mac & cheese & coleslaw, Orders can be placed by calling (630) 894-8524, or in person at the Legion. Raffle tickets will be available for sale as well.
All proceeds from the Friday Fish Fry dinners go toward supporting American Legion programs. Visit the American Legion Post 1084 website for details.
RUMC Food Pantry Hosting Fundraising Gala
The Roselle United Methodist Church Food Pantry is hosting their 1st annual "Give Where You Live Gala" on April 2 at Medinah Shriners Banquets, 550 Shriners Dr., Addison, at 5:30 p.m.
This fundraising event will include cocktails and dinner, a silent and live auction, and remarks from Julie Yurko, President and CEO of the Northern Illinois Food Bank. Tickets are $75 each and are available for purchase online. Donations are also being accepted online.
