A second half run helped the Benedictine University men's basketball team pull away from Concordia Chicago and win on the road

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine jumped in front early with Marvin Agwomoh scoring the first four points
• Concordia Chicago countered with six straight to start a back-and-forth
• Agwomoh scored the first four points of a 10-0 run as Benedictine moved ahead 10-0 run, putting Benedictine ahead 18-11 with 11:26 to go in the first half
• The lead reached nine points before the hosts pulled within two points
• Benedictine led 38-34 at the break but Concordia Chicago came out strong to open the second, building a 42-38 lead at the 16:03 mark
• With the contest tied at 43, Carter Knuckles deposited a layup to open a 9-0 run finished on a layup from Michael Johnson that made the score 52-43 with just over eight minutes to play
• Concordia Chicago pulled within four before a 15-0 run allowed Benedictine to pull away
• Cade Ellingson scored five points in four seconds during the run as Benedictine led 67-48
STAT LEADERS
• Benedictine shot 45 percent for the game and held a 49-25 edge on the glass
• Agwomoh led four players in double digits with 16, adding 10 rebounds for a double-double
• Johnson tacked on 13 with Nick Kosich adding 11
• Ellingson amassed 10 off the bench
• Trevor Montiel snared 13 rebounds
