Report: Wood Dale School District spent $14,235 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Wood Dale School District 7 was up 16.8 percent from five years ago, according to the DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $12,190 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,235 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,143 to 1,058 students over the same period.

Wood Dale's spending in 2019-20 was 1.8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
