Report: Glen Ellyn School District spent $14,229 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Glen Ellyn School District 41 was up 6.1 percent from five years ago, according to the DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $13,412 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,229 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 3,539 to 3,618 students over the same period.

Glen Ellyn's spending in 2019-20 was 1.8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
