Report: Bensenville School District spent $14,579 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Bensenville School District 2 was up 4 percent from five years ago, according to the DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $14,023 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,579 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 2,159 to 2,182 students over the same period.

Bensenville's spending in 2019-20 was 0.6 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
