A. FM-P-0020-22 Recommendation for the approval of a contract issued to Wight Construction Services, Inc., to provide Professional Construction Manager as Advisor Services related to the replacement of the Jail B HVAC system, for Facilities Management, for the period December 15, 2021 through June 30, 2023, for a total contract amount not to exceed $842,349, Professional Services (Architects, Engineers and Land Surveyors) vetted through a qualification-based selection process in compliance with the Illinois Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, 50 ILCS 510/ et. seq. (ARPA ITEM)

9. JOINT PURCHASING AGREEMENT

A. FM-P-0021-22 Recommendation for the approval of a contract to Home Depot U.S.A., Inc., for miscellaneous maintenance, repair and operation parts and supplies, as needed, for County facilities, for Facilities Management, for the period January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2026, for a total contract amount not to exceed $150,000. Contract let pursuant to the Intergovernmental Cooperation Act US Communities (OMNIA Partners) #16154.

10. SOLE SOURCE

A. FM-P-0022-22 Recommendation for the approval of a contract issued to Conference Technologies, Inc. (“CTI”), for Phase II of the Courtroom Technology Upgrades, for the Illinois Eighteenth Judicial Circuit Court, at the Judicial Office Facility, for Facilities Management, for the period December 15, 2021 through November 30, 2022, for a total contract amount not to exceed $773,539.45, per 55 ILCS 5/5-1022 “Competitive Bids” (c) not suitable for competitive bids – sole provider of proprietary software built specifically for the Courthouse. (ARPA ITEM)

11. CONTRACT INCREASE

A. PW-CO-0002-22 PW-CO-0031B-20 - Amendment to Resolution PW-CO-0031A-20, issued to Polydyne, for additional polymer for the Woodridge Greene Valley and Knollwood Facilities, for Public Works, to increase the contract in the amount of $4,622.45, taking the original contract amount of $246,452.85, and resulting in an amended contract total amount not to exceed $251,075.30 an increase of 1.88%

12. ACTION ITEMS

A. 2022-7 Approval to Rock Equipment Rentals for a Vactor truck which was necessary due to the department-owned Vactor truck needing repair. It was originally anticipated to be a 2-week rental in the amount of $12,500. The repairs were delayed due to parts and Public Works needed the rental for 2 months, resulting in a final total of $25,000. The Vactor truck is critical equipment used to respond to emergency back-ups and excavations 24/7.

B. RESOLUTION -- PW-0005-04 - First Amendment to Standard Water Tower Lease Agreement with T-Mobile USA, Inc for the Rosewood Water Tower.

C. RESOLUTION -- PW-0032F-97 - Second Amendment to the Fifth Renewal to the Nordic Park Water Tower Lease Agreement with T-Mobile

13. INFORMATIONAL

A. TE-P-0023-22 Recommendation for the approval of a contract purchase order to Accela, Inc. for Managed Application Services for the Building & Zoning, Transportation, Stormwater, and Public Works departments to provide support with permitting software that will allow on-line submittals, electronic document reviews, permit tracking and mobile inspections by applicants and/or County staff, as well as the creation of specifications for and completion of development of four Adjudication reports for Building & Zoning. This contract covers the period of the period February 21, 2022 through February 20, 2023, for a contract total not to exceed $220,200. Exempt from bidding per 55 ILCS 5/5-1022 “Competitive Bids” (c) not suitable for competitive bids – Sole Source. Accela is the sole provider for this software application.
